Along with the launch of Honor 30s phone, the company has also launched its new affordable price chipset Kirin 820, in which you also get 5G connectivity support. This chipset is 7nm based, in which you get support of dual mode i.e. both SA and NSA bands.
Features of Kirin 820 5G chipset
The chipset has 4x ARM Cortex A76 Performance Core @ 2.36GHz Clock Speed and 4x ARM Cortex A55 Efficiency Core @ 1.84GHz Clock Speed. This chipset is built on the 7nm architecture.
With the new design, you get 27% better CPU performance. The ARM Mali-G57 MP6 has also been used for the GPU, which is capable of giving 38% performance boost.
Not only this, Huawei has claimed that you can see this chipset boost up to 73% in AI performance. Apart from this, the chipset also supports Kirin ISP 5.0, BM3D SLR image noise reduction as well as video dual domain noise reduction.
